Most apps in this category send everything to a server. CivilCalc Pro doesn’t. Projects, calculations, favorites, and settings live on your phone unless you explicitly enable backup.
If you turn it on, backup uses the drive.appdata scope to write to a hidden CivilCalc Pro folder inside your Google account. Other apps can’t see it, and you can disconnect or delete it any time.

Yes. All calculators run on-device. Internet is only needed for optional features — Drive backup, Google Play purchases, and ads in the free tier.
Most calculators are available in the free tier with occasional interstitial ads, plus rewarded-ad unlocks for select advanced tools. A paid upgrade removes ads and unlocks the full set without the rewarded gate.
